![]() ![]() This may seem overpowered, however, we are just using the normal prayer book so there isn't much difference after levelħ0. This will be relatively slow.Ģ) Pray at all the altars on the map, each altar will grant you XP, and if you pray at all the altars you will have 99. Here are the only potions that will be in the game/be able to be made:ġ) Burying bones like normal. Will follow their respective runescape level requirements Can smith anything at any level, but your armor and weapons have a chance to break when making them. You can cook food at any level, but the higher your cooking level the better chance you have of not burning it. You can eat raw fish, but you have a chance of getting sick. The higher the tier of the fishing spot the more rare it is on the map, and these will have random locations that will change every server restart (every two days or so). You can fish from all fishing spots from level 1, however the higher the level the faster you can catch that fish. Will stay the same as they are in Runescape. Woodcutting, Firemaking, Fletching, Mining (Note: These ideas and features could change before release & the * symbol means these numbers are very likely to change.) If a skill is not mentioned here (excluding combat skills) that means we have no current plans to implement it into RuneZ. Here are our current plans for skills in RuneZ. Because of those reasons, we will be piloting a unique skilling environment that will be quite different than many are use to, while still holding key elements to that traditional system. I'm starting on a fresh source, and not using any of the past RuneZ code except some of the work with treasure chests (tents in DayZ).įor obvious reasons, the Runescape skilling system was not designed for a type of game like RuneZ. ![]() You'll learn more about some of these ideas in the days to come, as for now I'd like to thank everyone for their support on this thread, but also in the past when RuneZ 1 was still alive. In RuneZ 2, I'll still be going for about an 80-90% DayZ emulation, but with 10-20% RS themed ideas and content. ![]() This sounded great at first but it's really hard to run a RSPS that way and made things quite difficult for myself, and players. Before, my goal was to create DayZ, but inside of RuneScape. For example, I'm going to be dialing back the DayZ emulation a little bit. I'm going to be taking some different approaches to things that didn't work the first time. The content in RuneZ 2 will also look and feel a lot different than the first. I'm planning things out, and doing it right. If you ever looked at the leaked source code of RuneZ 1, you'll see that I took a lot of 'shortcuts' in the code and didn't think things through, sort of "glued" it all together. Through my new knowledge I'll have the tools to create a significantly better server than before. Through college I've learned a lot more about programming and will still be learning a lot more in the days to come. After a very long hiatus I've returned to the RSPS scene to try and perfect my original idea, RuneZ. Hello everyone and welcome back to RuneZ. you will be given the chance to start again, at the cost of combat levels being reset. At any given moment, another survivor can jump out of the shadows, and kill you for ALL of your items. And they may be friendly, and they may not be. There are other survivors, trying to live through this Hell. You have to pillage villages to find food, weapons, and armor to protect yourself from the vicious zombies. As time passes, you start to get hungry, and thirsty. Items can be found in houses, shops, banks, barracks, fortresses, or anywhere with a door to get into, or a ladder to climb up to. Zombies roam through towns & cities, getting in your way of the precious items that you need to survive. The world has been engulfed by a zombie apocalypse, however, you, a 'survivor', wash upon the shore of this God forsaken world. Based open the popular First Person Shooter DayZ, RuneZ, the original zombie survival server, takes RuneScape Private Servers to a whole new level of creativity.
